Universal Model

Six Reasons the Universal Performs Every Single Shift

From the first block of the day to the last — the Universal delivers the same output, the same quality, and the same reliability. Here is why.

Automatic Control

Fully Automatic Control

Every step — from concrete dosing to final palletising — is managed by one operator through a touchscreen software system. No complex training. No large workforce needed.

Energy Efficient

Energy Efficient Operation

The Universal's drive systems and vibration controls are designed to use only the energy needed for each production cycle — reducing your electricity bill without reducing your output.

vibration

Reliable Vibration System

The synchronized vibration system compacts every block with exactly the right force — giving you uniform density and strength in every unit. Proven across hundreds of plants worldwide.

pallet size

Flexible Pallet Sizes

Works with production pallets up to 1,400 × 900 mm — giving your plant the flexibility to switch between block formats, paver sizes, and other concrete products without changing the machine.

handing system

Automatic Handling System

After pressing, blocks are automatically moved to the curing chamber by a finger car system. No manual handling. No production delays. The system is configurable for different curing chamber heights and load capacities.

smart-control

Smart Control & Monitoring

The control software shows live data on output, cycle time, energy consumption, and maintenance alerts — all on one screen. If something needs attention, the operator knows immediately — before it becomes a problem.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our concrete block machines, batching plants, and after-sales support

A block machine fills a mould with concrete, then uses vibration and pressure to compact it into a solid block. On the Universal, this entire process is automatic — the concrete is dosed, the mould is filled, vibrated, and compressed, and the finished block is removed — all in 12 to 15 seconds per cycle. The operator monitors everything from a single touchscreen without touching the machine.

The Universal is designed for serious industrial producers who need reliable, high-volume block production every day. It is ideal for factories producing 2,000 to 4,500 blocks per hour, where one operator needs to manage the complete production line. It is a popular choice in Eastern Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and North Africa — markets where industrial-scale production and low labour costs are both important.

One. The Universal is designed so that a single operator can supervise and control the entire production line — from concrete batching to final palletising — through the customised software system. Additional workers may be needed for ancillary tasks such as pallet handling and product storage, but the machine itself runs on one operator.

The Universal can produce hollow blocks, solid blocks, pavers, kerbstones, floor slabs, and more — simply by changing the mould. Pallet sizes up to 1,400 x 900 mm give you the flexibility to work with a wide range of formats. Optional finishing equipment — splitters, colour mixing systems, and aging machines — can also be connected to expand your product range.

All Poyatos Universal machines come with full after-sales support — including spare parts supply, remote tele-assistance directly through the machine's software, on-site engineer visits in 80+ countries, and operator training at commissioning. Our technical team is available 24/7 and can diagnose and resolve most issues remotely without visiting your site.
